Welcome to DairyAssessment.com!

Assessments are sets of questions (surveys) designed to gather data about a given topic. They provide information about what is currently being done by participants and provide potential areas for improvement. DairyAssessment.com has been developed by Agrimetrica, LLC as a "one-stop shopping" web site for conducting on-line assessments for information about dairies. A number of different assessment developed by industry experts can already be found here including a basic animal well-being assessment, a Johne's Disease prevention assessment, a milk quality self assessment, and others.

Our system is designed as a two way approach where the assessments not only provide information for the assessment designer, but also can be used as a learning tool for the assessment participant through our Best Management Practices section. Best Management Practices (BMP's) are ideal management practices identified through experience and research. While no dairy uses all possible BMP's and a given BMP may not be the ideal practice for a given dairy, they are goals to work toward and provide benchmarks to compare dairies.
